I see that .39 is up on the Planner, so is it good to go to test? What are some things to look for in this beta?

I've uploaded now to my Quad. One thing I noticed is that the artificial horizon is all around even after level from APM Planner and level from RC Sticks (full down throttle and full left yaw). Tryied with XBees and horizon was OK. Reconnected with USB, after restarting APM Planner (ver. 1.0.53) and it was OK too. Maybe some glitch for not having it restarted. One thing I noticed (didn't tested it in previous versions), is that while in auto trim mode, flight modes could be changed, shouldn't the ohter modes be locked until auto trim ended ? Also I would like know why, in HUD, on the right side on what I believe to be the absolute altitude info bar, sometimes there's a bar beeing filled in blue color, what is that ? Is there any place describing all the HUD gadgets and bars ?
Permalink Reply by Matt Gaige on August 14, 2011 at 3:12pm It looks as if it is still loading .38, though it states .39.
Permalink Reply by Nigel Conliffe on August 14, 2011 at 7:13pm Where are you finding 2.0.39?
All I see here http://code.google.com/p/arducopter/downloads/list is .38
(pf course, by the time I write this, some clever person will have updated the download page and I'll look like an idiot. Again. :) )

Permalink Reply by Matt Gaige on August 14, 2011 at 7:38pm It appears in the Mission Planner under Firmware, when you select "Quad" it asks if you wish to load 2.0.39. It use to say .38. It may have come along with the latest Planner update.
Permalink Reply by Nigel Conliffe on August 14, 2011 at 9:43pm Sadly I am running on a Mac.
Next project (after figuring out Xbee support) seems to be resurrecting my Windows box which died in the move.
Thanks

Nigel, the planner will run on mac.. not as stable as it should be, but will run. you need "mono" to use it.

Permalink Reply by Vincent Mees on August 16, 2011 at 2:28am Just tested v39 available from the trunk.
Flight seems quite stable (little windy at the moment).
Sonar does not work. Getting 137 as value.
Also leveling the quad with MP isen't possible. MP askes for the version 37.
Keep up the good work.
Thanks

Sonar works fine with test in terminal and CLI.
