I see that .39 is up on the Planner, so is it good to go to test? What are some things to look for in this beta?

Permalink Reply by Vincent Mees on August 16, 2011 at 3:15pm Just went back to v37 and alt is indicated correctly.
Loaded v39 again ans still the mp shows 137m???
In status field I can see the alt is also 137. Nevertheless alt error shows -0.31 and goes more negative when I lift quad.
In the log sonar shows correct value.
There seems to be something wrong in calculating the correct height.
Do I have to change something in the settings?

Permalink Reply by Kevin Lincoln on August 16, 2011 at 6:26pm Vincent,
I experienced the exact same symptoms on both 2.0.38 & 2.0.39. Only difference is, since my Planner is set to feet, it remains frozen at 449ft (same value as yours). For test purposes, same altitude is reported in HK GCS. Have to revert to 2.0.37 or earlier to restore previous functionality.
Very peculiar.
Permalink Reply by Vincent Mees on August 17, 2011 at 1:52am Pfff, I thought I was the only one.
The hardware and connections weren't changed between version. So that can't be the problem.
I use the latest MP version being 1.0.54
Why does it work with certain persons???

Permalink Reply by Gustav Kuhn on August 16, 2011 at 10:39pm I too had the rolling horizon when connected with USB.
I don't have Xbee on the quad, that is on the plank at the moment.
Was VERY nervous on the first flight of the quad :-)
