Would there be any reason why you could not substitute a 2.4 GHz XBee Pro (series 1) in the place of the 900 MHz version that comes with the telemetry kit? Would it cause interference or get interference from any of the 2.4 GHz control systems out there?

Also, within the telemetry kit, is the XtremeBee USB adapter any different from the SparkFun USB XBee Explorer board at all? They look almost identical.

I'm just trying to see what I can use that I already have to keep costs down some.
