Folks,

I have an APM1 2560 with the "normal" gps on it. I also have one of these lying in a spares bin. Would there be any benefit in using this? The stock firmware does not have the I2C enabled but that is doable.

Biggest thing I like about it - it works indoors.

Only issue is a bulky antenna with 5m of cable on it. if I can sort that out the I'll look to using it.

Would the APM benefit from a 20Hz update or is it pointless?

Just bought one of these... the main reason was a hope that higher update rates would result in improved position and heading estimation for my autonomous ground vehicle. Curious to hear what others have to say.

I'm pretty pleased with the accuracy/performance so far.
