I own a dji phantom 2 and just recently installed a FPV system on mine. Just so i can see were my phantom is flying so i don't lose it or crash it. I live in Yonkers, NY, and i'm having trouble finding some fields to fly anywhere but really trying to find fields thats close around my area if possible or if not around westchester county, Yonkers or the Bronx. so far I've gave the parks department a call to fly around Van Cortland Park but we are restricted from flying there. and they told me to try Ferry Point park or field in the bronx but they said if your flying a fpv you need a permit to film if using FPV and told me to still gave the park a call to see if you can fly or not? that was 311 info i called about the park's. then a friend told me to fly around the white stone movie theater he said everybody flys there but to just have a EMA insurance card for just in case you crash or injure somebody cause sometimes cops will harass and ask for paper insurance work i was told. and i also found this list of flying fields in New York its old I'm not sure if its still current but i'll share the link with you below so i hope you can help me out thank you very much Larry.

There is no such thing as a permit for FPV flight. They probably have no clue what you're talking about. You would probably need a permit to do commercial photography.
