Anyone understands why APM2 's AHI can go nuts (with no reason ? - on my desk?) logs attached.

after crashing into the sea, and losing one, I am trying to "understand" APM2.

Besides the compass mess. - I'd experienced something really strange a few times.

-I let it run on my workbench for hours, when I get back - the AHI is looping and/or rolling, the device have completely lost it's marbles. - see log.

The attached log is the last time it happened, - it's running ok for long time, then I move it - a little, at ( ~92% log)  - then - shortly after it goes completely nuts.  If it was flying - it would certainly crash.

This workbench is near a window, maximum change in temperature could be about 10 degrees (C) - not more.

there is a problem with the Y Gyro. id say the board is toast

Hi, thank you - please take a look at the video I made, sometimes the gyro is completely wrong, sometimes it appers to work fine : http://youtu.be/PqriyQ-eOU8  (arducopter 2.5.4)

Would you say this looks like a hardware fail ?  - a little odd it's random ? - or not ?

apparently it was all related to the scaling problem  - after upgrading firmware, the problem is gone.
