APM 2.5 External LED's

Hello:

I've heard there is a way to add external LED's to the APM 2.5 board.

This is great,so I can see the board status from a distance.

I found on EBAY a small led board with attached servo type wire and plug that is supposed to be for this board.I do not seem to be able to find where or how to attach it to the board.

Any input is appreciated.

  • Well ok thanks anyways! All feedback is helpful.I will re do the ESC cal once more just to double check.

  • Yes thanks this is one of the steps I initially did.The apm used to work properly but now?

In the beginning when armed, all the motors started to spin slowly right away. Now when armed I need to give full throttle for a second to get any motor to spin. Also as I explained, when I move the stick to give right roll, the right motors fully stop and the left ones speed up.The motors sgould not stop but only maybe slow down a bit. What I tried was to push the wee reset button on the APM and start from scratch.

this produced the same results. The APM calibrates properly, does the radio check arming procedure etc.I have noidea what's going on.

that should give you all you need
    • Ok ruben I'm not worried about the LED's now but with two other issues.First of all when armed the motors do not spin slowly like I selected in the parameters. In fact only two motors rotate until I give full throttle. Ok now that the motors are rotating I will give a stick command from the radio to go forward. The rear motors will speed up but the front motors completely stop. This goes for reverse flight, roll and yaw.

Per my other quads the motors should just slow down not stop.

Stopped motors in flight is a very bad thing.

Any input on this is appreciated.

      Thanks
