Hi Guys - my deepest apologies if this is both obvious and an old problem but its new to me and I need help.
I have been flying my Phantom 3 for a while but thought I would venture ito the DIY drone so...
I have assembled a flamewheel clone frame with APM Arducopter 2.8, paired it with my DMX6 no problem but it will not arm and after a few minutes of doing nothing all 4 of the Simon 30 Amp Esc are very hot.
I checked it in Flight planner and initially it was failing because it had no GPS signal - I took it outside and that solved that but still will not arm.
I connected an esc directly to the spektrum receiver and the motor spins up fine so I assume that is working.
I think I am most concerned at how hot thee are getting and I havent dared to keep them on for long because I think they will surely get damaged - why they are getting so hot is a mystery to me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
