I have an APM2 that has the built on GPS. Everything Execpt the GPS works great, and Ive disabled the GPS to try to get an external one by cutting the trace to it and the inductor for the GPS.... but Ive had no luck. CLI gives me GPS Timeout. I just load the latest Firmware last night on it... I have it powered both from the ESC for the output and the input rail from a BEC,
So if there is anyone out there that does not need a gps, or that thinks they can fix this one then this is for you. If your serious about buying it I will take a short video of the other features working...Just to be clear there is no warranty on this. Comes with the APM 2, USB cable, and the APM2 case.
$95 US plus shipping.

Permalink Reply by Victor Iliescu on November 1, 2012 at 7:22pm Hi ward, I have an APM 2 in perfect condition with case and mediatek gps i'd like to sell. No damage to board but I did install two super capacitors (neatly) as battery backup for the gps: once you get fix, powering off and back on you get 3d fix again before the apm has time to finish booting, lasts about a full day before it loses the almanac. Absolutely no issues with it, and im in toronto, ontario so shipping should be cheap. I sent you a friend request.
