Recently received my APM purple and been flying for about 2 weeks. All has been great until recently.
I am using 2.5.3 firmware.
Yesterday the RED LED would not come on after a 10 min flight and a battery change. I then connected to the mission planner via USB and it also would not come on.
To see if the board was working I tried re loading firmware at that worked but no LED. I also successfully changed configuration parameters but the RED LED was still not responsive.
Then seemingly randomly the RED LED turned on and began blinking with the BLUE LED as it normally would
.
I then removed power and tried to boot again.. no RED LED.. but after 30-60 seconds it came on.
Other times it takes 5 seconds.... sometimes it never comes on. Currently it seems to be working normally but when it does not work I would like to know how to fix it.
Anyone have any suggestions?

It works for me but I am looking for the permanent fix.
