tried the mission planer away from any internet access and unable to use it can anyone ?.
if so how it had no firmware available and no google maps am I missing something.

Permalink Reply by Stephen Dade on January 7, 2013 at 12:39am You need to cache (save to disk) the maps before you head out. You can do this by going to Flight Planner -> Right click on map -> Map Tool -> Prefetch. It will cache the map area currently shown in the Planner window.
The firmware is downloaded each time you (re)flash using the icons in the Firmware window. Alternatively, you can compile/download the firmware yourself and use the Load Custom Firmware button on the Firmware window.
