haha...
Permalink Reply by Leigh Green on July 5, 2012 at 11:13pm Looks like they've hit another bottleneck...no updates on shipping for 8 days odd....:( Must be another Exhibition somewhere. Go 3DR...hopefully they win an extra 1000 workers and a Production plant... :)
They've been shipping all along (although some days only the unassembled ones ship). I don't think they'll be updating order status every day on Twitter anymore, but I'll ask them to post one today.
Permalink Reply by Leigh Green on July 7, 2012 at 1:21am Chris - thanks as always, looks like not long after you posted this they posted a status and sure enough they had only sent out around 60 in 9 days - but apparently have 450+ boards getting ready to ship next week.
I just boggles the mind to think there are this many UAV type vehicles starting to litter the skies..."Terminator" here we come...
Permalink Reply by Wesley Chuen on July 5, 2012 at 11:53pm I have one for sale in case any one interested. :)
Permalink Reply by gearwolf on July 7, 2012 at 12:56pm I've been trying to buy one for awhile. The same day the store stopped taking orders I was actually through to the payment option, submitted it and then my order was kicked out like it wasn't there. I understand the move for more production, now every time I try to order one some part is missing. First it was the gps and then the magnetometer and now its a bent 4 pin even though it says 105 in stock. So am I unlucky or is there a problem with the store?
Gearworf: I'm checking with the team to find out what's wrong with that listing. In the meantime, you can buy the unassembled version, which will ship sooner and is a very easy kit to put together.
Permalink Reply by gearwolf on July 7, 2012 at 2:41pm Thank you chris for looking into this. I would rather buy an assembled version that has been tested. Is there a manual I could see for assembly. I haven't been able to find them. My soldering skills are very basic, but I could try if that was all it took. Also how come it's cheaper to buy an assembled version?
They're the same price ($199 with GPS, $184 without). I think the soldering instructions are included in the box, but I'll see if I can find a PDF.
gearworf: the problem with the APM 2 product listing has now been fixed. You should be able to order it now.

Permalink Reply by Leigh Green on July 16, 2012 at 4:19pm Got my Email today..."You Order has Shipped." just letting you know that even though twitter is up to 24910, mine is 25026 and shipped a bit over an hour ago.
BTW - order was placed 2nd June - so that is pretty much only a couple of days over 6 weeks for anyone who needs to set a timeframe on their own upcoming delivery.
Season Two of the Trust Time Trial (T3) Contest has now begun. The fourth round is an accuracy round for multicopters, which requires contestants to fly a cube. The deadline is April 14th.182 members
