Anyone that has this setup running, the arduIMU with a UBLOX gps directly connected to arduIMU, please give me any information you can on satellite locking, what you did when you had errors. I cannot get my gps to lock. Anyone please post your experience with this setup. What kind of weather conditions did you test in? How long did it take? Did you have to point it to different parts of the sky? Did you have to try different locations? Any feedback will be helpful to me. Thank you

I'd suggest you get the GPS receiver to lock while connected to u-center first. In u-center, you should be able to easily tell if your GPS is connecting without using the ArduIMU.

Then you can confirm whether the problem is your IMU configuration or the GPS module.

Can you see any data coming from the GPS in u-center?
Taylor has been PMing me. It looks like his uBlox wasn't programmed for ArduPilot and was running at 9600. I'm coaching him on how to reprogram it himself.
Ok. I have reprogrammed the ublox to work on 38400 baud in u-center. However, every time I unplug the gps and plug it back it to the computer, the configuration file goes back to what is was before and the gps will only operate on 9600 baud. How do I make the configuration change to stay at what it is?
Nevermind. I have figured it out. For anyone doing reprogramming with a new configuration. After you have followed the manual http://www.diydrones.com/profiles/blogs/tutorial-programming-your

Then you must go to Receiver>> Action>> Then click save config. Otherwise, every time you unplug your gps, it will revert back to the original configuration.

Hi, I uploaded the firmware on my ublox to 6.02, but it's working at 9600 as well, how do i make it work at 38400? It's weird, before uploading the firmware it was working at 38k.

Also the GPS configuration doesn't work, is it because of the baud speed?

Thank you!
