Should I enable the brake on the ESC?
Should I enable soft or super soft startup mode?
Should I adjust the timing mode when using the standard Arducopter 880KV motors?

Thanks!
Permalink Reply by Michael Brown on July 28, 2011 at 3:03pm Long time, I am curious as to how you ended up setting up your ESC. I screwed the setup on one and need to set it up again. Let me know.
Permalink Reply by Steven Harsanyi on July 28, 2011 at 3:11pm You should set your timing to high. You should notice that on high timing your motors seem to run smoother. Google esc quadcopter motor timing if you want to read up on it.
Permalink Reply by estebanflyer on July 28, 2011 at 9:06pm Thanks Steven. The problem is that these motors seem to be too powerful for the length of the arms, but I will give it a try.
