Arducopter Heli - Throttle Issue

Hello all.

I am having an issue with my throttle in ACRO; the throttle does not react until its at its midpoint 1500.

Been searching and reading a lot to threads, but no luck so far. I am sure there is a simple fix. 

Working on a Trex 450 APM 2.6 with latest firmware 3.2.1

Any suggestions.

    Hi DiZzy,

    does this mean it works in Stabilize but not in Acro ? Does the ESC work if you plug it direct to the RX (no blades please !) ?

    Maybe check your throttle output at the Failsafe screen to see if the signal is o.k.. I once had a cheap ESC in a beginner set that 'forgot' the calibration all the time so maybe try ESC calibration again. Sometimes it is best to do setup, erase, reset and start all over again with a new install.

      Hi Ultrafuge,

      My throttle does work both in Stab and Acro, but it does not spin until the mid throttle range.

      I want proportional control for the full throttle range. 

      I do not want the throttle to cut off if I am at 1/4 throttle.

      I am using mode 1 for RSC, and have the CH8 pass thru selected.

        Hi DiZzy,

        same throttle behaviour in Stabilize and Acro is good - makes it more likely you have a simple ESC problem.

        As suggested above I would first look at the channel 8 at the Failsafe screen to see if you get the desired input and output range. If channel 8 input is o.k. and channel 8 output is o.k. then (re)calibrate the ESC .
