ArducopterNG and ArduPirates libraries question

Does the Arducopter code and the ArduPirates codes reference the same libraries? Or do I need to get rid of the Arducopter library files before downloading and compiling the Ardupirates code?

Contests

Season Two of the Trust Time Trial (T3) Contest has now begun. The fourth round is an accuracy round for multicopters, which requires contestants to fly a cube. The deadline is April 14th.
