Hi,

is there a way to connect the airspeed sensor directly to the ArduPilot board or do i really need the IMU/Shield?

Are you asking about ArduPilot or ArduPilot Mega?

If you mean ArduPilot then you don't need the IMU, if you use thermopiles instead, but it will be much easier to use the shield than to do all the custom wiring you will need without it.

If you mean ArduPilot Mega then why do you want airspeed without the IMU. The system wont be of much use....
I found this picture...

So...A3 is airspeed analog...and it looks like its connected to A3 from ArduPilot:

So can i use A3 from Ardupilot directly so it gets the pressure from the airspeed sensor? Is that enough so the ArduPilot has a valid airspeed signal?
