Hello,

Iam just getting to grips with ApmPlanner (v1.1.92) together with an APMv2.0 and run into a problem.

I set up a simple mission to fly to waypoints, loiter for 40seconds and then onto the next.

My problem is, when i switch to 'Auto' mode, my plane navigates to the first waypoint fine but loiters indefinitely, failing to continue to the next point.

I have searched high and low through the forums to no avail.

Please can someone explain what iam doing wrong?

Kind regards

James

You need navigate commands.

Flip those "LOITER_TIME" commands back to "WAYPOINT"s the way they were. If you want to, add "LOITER_TIME" or other commands in between.

The navigate ("WAYPOINT") commands are the backbone of the mission. Without them, nothing much interesting happens. They form the framework around which you can optionally add other fun stuff for flavor. But you must have the navigate commands to hand the rest off of.

Hi Mike,

Fanastic! thanks for such a quick reply.

So a simple 'loiter at two waypoints then return to launch' mission would look like this?

Yeah, that looks better.
