Auto taxi missions

Anyone ever make auto taxi routes in APM? Does a speed of 4M/s have to be set by throttle pos or by speed? Technically the GPS may not pick up the turn waypoints at such a low speed. I think the coolest thing to see would be one of these planes taxi on its own, wait and then take off! When they come back from the mission...holding pattern until given a prewritten land mission and then taxi back to a hangar.

curently auto mode will not arm unless you go over 5m/s, so currently anything like this is not possible

Thanks for the reply Michael! That is still only slighty over 11MPH. Not too bad for a larger plane on the ground maybe.

Season Two of the Trust Time Trial (T3) Contest has now begun. The fourth round is an accuracy round for multicopters, which requires contestants to fly a cube. The deadline is April 14th.
