Some other mission planners have a feature to drag out a square/rectangle on the map and have the planning software automatically generate strips of waypoints to cover that entire area, particularly useful for aerial photography. Closest thing I could find in the current Mission Planner software was the Grid feature which allows you to draw a polygon one waypoint at a time. Did I overlook a similar feature in Mission Planner? Any Ideas? Similar to the Create Waypoint Circle feature.

When finished, click the grid button at the bottom. Then you define the spacing and angle for the flight lines. Make sure you have a home elevation set or you get a error message for every way point.
Season Two of the Trust Time Trial (T3) Contest has now begun. The fourth round is an accuracy round for multicopters, which requires contestants to fly a cube. The deadline is April 14th.87 members
