Battery monitoring with Arduino, I2C, Pixhawk

Hello,

I am working on a project where an Arduino Uno is used to monitor a LiPo battery state of charge.

The battery monitor will work similarly to the 3DR SOLO battery pack, in that it will communicate with the Pixhawk using I2C.

I know the Arduino needs to use slave address 0x0B.

My question is, how do I make sure that the data I'm sending via I2C will be recieved by the Pixhawk as the actual battery capacity? Does anyone have the code which outlines this process?
