Go with Ardupilot Mega Purple (APM2) (comes with GPS&Compass on board)

(Im not 100% sure if you can or cannot use the ArduIMU+ V3, I know you can use the APM2.)

Thanks for the answer!

The Xbee telemetry kit has an antenna for communication but i don't need that at this time, i just want to connect a USB cable to my laptop and see the different parameters. And what software should i use?

With the new APM2 there is onbaord sd card that saves all your mission logs.

As far as software goes, I like APM Planner. HappyKillmores GCS also works.

With Ardupilot Mega Purple (APM2) can i connect lets say 2 Airspeed sensors or 2 Humidity sensors?

Are there other IMU to chosse from? 

And in terms of the software the APM Planner and HappyKilmores GCS only work with Ardupilot Mega?

There are additional 10 total inputs, so i would say yes :)

I think APM planner and HK GCS only work with Ardupilot mega. I might be wrong.

But for what you getting in terms of APM2. Its definitely the way to go for what you want :)

This shows all the inputs. You can change all the motor LEDS to inputs.

I am very interested on buying an APM 2.0 and when browsing i saw the ArduPilot Mega plywood enclosure, is there available some enclosuse to the APM 2.0 Purple?
