Big problems to upload firmware to pixhawk

Hi everyone !

I'm trying to program my pixhawk but I have some troubles.

First with the terminal (I'm using VirtualBox with Ubuntu 14.04 and my computer is on windows 7) with the command "make px4-v2-uplaod".
I get the error :

attempting reboot on /dev/serial/by-id/usb-3D_Robotics_PX4_FMU_v2.x_0-if00...
if the board does not respond, unplug and re-plug the USB connector.

I then tried with QGroundControl and obtained the error :

Found device: Pixhawk
Error: Sync: Send Command: Get Command Response: Timeout waiting for bytes to be available
Upgrade cancelled

I have tried everything I found, all tips and solutions from other people on different forums but it still doesn't work.
I found someone with a similar problem here : https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/px4users/8WxuOM4MBwY.
But even there I found no solution which works for me and I don't have a black magic.

Does anyone have an idea of how to solve my problem? Because I'm completely lost...

Thanks in advance,

Juliette

    @Juliette,

You might try using the hardware reset switch found on the USB side of the Pixhawk case.

    • Hi Thomas,

      Thank you for your reply.

Of course I already tried the reset button. But it's like when I unplug/plug the usb, again the same error...
