Building a Quadcopter for Hero3, am a novice, could use advice

I am working on coming up with the right pieces for a quadcopter that will carry a Hero3 and get me some aerial shots for some film production projects of mine.

So far:

Motors (4): AX-2810Q-750Kv Brushless Quadcopter Motor

Flight controller: MultiWii Pro Flight Controller w/MTK GPS Module

Battery: 3~4S Lipoly (though I am not sure which one to get)

Prop: Was thinking 10x4.5 (yes?)

ESCs: 35A (though not sure which ones are best)

Receiver/Transmitter: ?

I was going to build the frame myself. I was thinking the smallest frame possible (motor-to-motor distance) rather than big, to save on weight. Is there any advantage to the bigger frame?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
