Anyone know is CAD file for Bixler Electronics Chassis (https://store.diydrones.com/Bixler_SkySurfer_Chassis_No_Pan_Tilt_p/...) open or not?

Permalink Reply by Chad P on February 16, 2012 at 2:57pm I would also like the CAD file.
A CAD file of the Bixler fus would be most useful... That would really be cool.
Anybody?
Permalink Reply by Simon on February 16, 2012 at 3:53pm You are welcome to my files for the chassis - see this post
There are two formats - one is a pdf file (suitable for laser cutting), the other is in Autocad dwg format (they're the same design).
I made mine from 3/32 ply so all the slots etc are gauged for this material.
Hope you can use them.
Permalink Reply by Simon on February 17, 2012 at 5:01am I've just remembered, I slightly modified the original design to make positioning of the servo cables easier and to aid insertion of the chassis into the fuselage.
Only minor mods but the revised files are here:

I just got one of these in from the store only to find the holes for USB and Reset Button don't line up with the APM2 board. So your files may come in very handy.
