Can I borrow your log file?

Hello everyone, I am new into the community and to APM in general and have a few questions before I buy.  I am most interested in the data that APM can gather which can be analyzed post flight.  Can the APM save a file that can be imported into Microsoft Excel?  I don't yet have a copy of mission planner to run on my computer so Excel is all I have to use so far.  I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share their file from any flight so that I can get a feel for the data that APM collects.  Is it a straightforward process to import the data into Excel?  Not to get to picky, but if you have an air speed sensor and pitot tube that would be awesome as well.  Thanks in advance.

Yes, the APM stores a lot of data to the dataflash.  There are also telemetry log files produced by the ground station.  Dataflash files can be directly imported into excel and the mission planner can be used to massage the telemetry tlogs into a csv format as well.

    best of luck.

3dr sells an airspeed sensor with pitot tube...there may be a different version if you're going to use the pixhawk instead of the APM2.  I've never flown an APM2 or Pixhawk on a plane personally so I'm not really sure.
