I have an E-Flight BladeCX2 that was given to me recently using the above equipment, I was wondering if this would be a suitable Tx/Rx Pair for a Fun Jet or Easystar with Ardupilot?

I have the same combonation. I would like to try it with my f-18 but dont know what the limit is on the range so I was thinking about enabling the failsafe code with the atiny built in to the ardupilot just in case. As far as the controlls on the lp5dsm it works great with mine for runing the ardupilot board controlls.
