I was wondering about this new camera from Sony...

I`m wondering if the trigger and zoom can be controlled via a rc trigger or something.
Anybody tried this camera ??

If it has the Multi I/F, there's a chance it might support LANC.
Then one can build an RC/LANC interface with an arduino, or buy the mikrokopter unit.
There used to be an established standard using the USB picture transfer protocol (PTP) connection to control pretty much any camera feature, not just transferring pictures and video from the camera. It was supported in most high end DSLR and compact cameras etc.
But sadly the last 5+ years, the only company that seem somewhat interesting in still supporting the complete PTP feature set is Nikon on their DSLR cameras. The rest like Canon, Sony etc. only support the media transfer part of the protocol (MTP), and use proprietary stuff for remote controlling or in many cases have nothing at all.
You can install Timelapse app from PlayMemories webstore to use it as an intervalometer. Could be difficult to install it if your country is not on the list of PlayMemories.
Or you can use the android wifi remote control if you're using the camera in close range.
Sony.. too proprietary and closed. If you hack it, they will sue as usual. - and no RAW.
Try to find a Canon , with CHDK- there's virtually no limits - you'll get anything the hardware can do..
