I think you may be on to something here. How are you able to accurately track velocity though with just noisy GPS data?

Try these PIDs

NAV_LOITER_P  1.2

NAV_LOITER_I   0.01

NAV_LOITER_D  0.3

NAV_LOITER_IMAX 10

 

The i term may have been ramping up causing the overshoot.

Thanks jason will try today.

Had a play with your flash pid tuners on another post may I say bloody brilliant.

I learned more about PID in 3 minutes playing with your program than I have the last year.

Comon admins do your job and put these files in the arducopter manual. PLEASE

Instead of inbedding the whole page, here are the links directly

Simply specify the dimension of each .swf when you publish.

James: Google Code does not support direct embedding of Flash files. I needed to create a Google Gadget to do that, which only supports an entire page. 

 

I can just link to those files, but I think embedding them makes it clearer what they do.

Yeah, maybe so we dont have to have the side bars to make it a lil prettier.  I still think its totally awesome just having the info there though.  I also thought of maybe embedding them side by side.

 

Tell you what, let me do it quick and then you can decide... easy as pie :)
