Hello,
I have been using the ardupilot for a while in an easyglider and just kinda throw all of my stuff inside.  I am starting to buy the parts for the Ardupilot Mega and was curious if the IMU/main board needs to be place at the C.G. of the plane to operate best.  I would think that it would need to be firmly mounted in the same location every time because of accelerometers and gyros.
Thanks.

It does not need to be at the CG, but on high vibration planes (gas powered) that is the point of least noise.
