im interessted in the quadrocopter/ tricopter scene for a long time, and now i wann create my on one.
But im a extrem noob on this field so i hope you can help me.
i wanna record some movies, in a extrem height (on a mountain) - around 3000 meter or so. is there any chance to reach this height or what ist the max. height of them?

Are you planning on taking off from around 3000m and flying just dozens of meters off the ground up there, or are you talking about taking off from a much lower altitude and flying up to 3000m? In the former, I don' think there are any issues. Perhaps on a very hot day you might want bigger props, but I doubt even that would be needed. In the latter case I assume you'd need to go FPV or use GPS navigation and have a long-lasting battery solution.
Regardless, in most countries it's illegal to fly more than 100-200m above ground level with a hobby aircraft.
