crashed - help with logs

Hi,

newbie question, iris+, v3.2.1 (I think)

I've flown 5 times, all fine, starting slow and not going too far. My last flight resulted in a crash .. I lost control from the RC unit, iris+ landed (dropped), throttle wouldn't work, wouldn't disengage .. I then hit RTL and it appeared to climb and it drifted and crashed into my house, bounced off and then landed on the ground where I managed to power it off.

I've been looking at the logs/graphs on APM (on OSX) ... but can't seem to see anything obvious (to me!). I have video of when the "loss" occurs also.

I wonder if someone could look at the logs, or point me to some other analysis tool to help see what went wrong.

I'm nervous to fly again, and am willing to accept the "idiot pilot" errors also.

thanks

  • At 06:43:29 Channel 3 and ThrIn show where you throttled back to land. At 6:44:01 you hit RTL and it took off again. About five seconds later, you hit ALT HOLD before RTL finished. The accels show the copter/house interaction shortly after going into ALT HOLD.

I would have go make a guess that you inadvertently switched to ALT HOLD but thought the copter was still in RTL.
