I would like to begin a new thread all about debugging the APM

I a a newbie to embedded systems , and I will appreciate help how to set a debug environment .

or at least how to emulate the code on a pc (debug the code with emulator and a simulator) 

I know that under ardunio blog you can get some info, but it is too wide and not focusing in autopilot
