so, I'm designing a fully homemade octocopter, and I was wondering if there were any tips/things I should know about building this. I've never built an octocopter (or a frame) before, so any help would be appreciated.

Is this because I didn't give specific info, or people don't like sharing tips, or there are no real tips to speak of...
I was hoping that I wouldn't have to go into this blindly.
I'm not just interested in the frame, but this seems to be the first thing I should handle.

Spending some time reading all you can on the forums here will most likely answer any question you could come up with.
I have yet to start my quad, but after spending many mounts reading on this site, I do not think there is a question about my build that has not already been addressed here.
Good luck to you. and hope your build goes well.
Season Two of the Trust Time Trial (T3) Contest has now begun. The fourth round is an accuracy round for multicopters, which requires contestants to fly a cube. The deadline is April 14th.15 members
