Hi all, I have just recently joined this site and have found a lot of the threads on here to be very appealing! I recently decided to purchase my first quadcopter and decided on the DJI flamewheel. I come from a nitro plane background so this electric business is all new to me. I have built my copter now and running the Naza autopilot. I have reviewed many youtube setup videos but nothing is quite clear and the copter keeps wanting to flip on it's side. What am I doing wrong??
The battery I am using is only for testing and I am planning on sticking bigger battery on it once the copter decides to lift off. I have attached some software settings as well.

Permalink Reply by paul bedford on April 6, 2012 at 1:05pm Hi have you fixed this problem yet ?
I had the same problem on my first flight it just flipped straight over. After going over everything again I found I had put the props on the wrong motors, clockwise props on anti clockwise motors. Once I swapped them round flew fine.
Season Two of the Trust Time Trial (T3) Contest has now begun. The fourth round is an accuracy round for multicopters, which requires contestants to fly a cube. The deadline is April 14th.314 members
