Hey! I'm a little bit new to DIY Drones but anyways. I am working on my final project (I'm a senior computer science student), and I want to make a delivery drone. I have done some research about the Navio+ and I like it because it works with a Raspberry Pi. Does someone here have any experiences with it?

Hi Cesar,
Take a look at Randy's review of the Navio+ with the Raspberry Pi 2.

My take: If the Pixhawk already does what you need, it is almost certainly the easiest to use.
But you are a CS student who is probably planning on doing some of your own programming.
And I would guess you would probably prefer to work with Linux and the RPi.
The RPi2 has plenty of extra head room, in fact from comparative reviews it has about 4 times the CPU benchmark performance of a Beagle Bone Black (which already has quite a bit higher performance than the Pixhawk), plus it's environment is more mature and easier to program.
It will take a bit of extra effort to get started with the Navio+ and RPi in comparison to the Pixhawk, but should be easier to program (and more capable) once you get it going.
I would choose the Navio+ and RPi myself.
(And almost certainly will for my next project in any case).
Best Regards,
Gary
Oh wow! Thanks Gary! I'm planning to communicate with the drone via web server, and I think it will be great! I didn't know that the the Pi2 is better than the Beagle Bone Black. Thanks Again!!!!
*** Great revieww!!
for a CS student project I think the NavIO+ is perfect, paired with a RPi2
Thanx!
