I loaded 2.27 and now a number of features are not working.

How do I downgrade. I know I use the arduino interface but is there a guide?

I get compile errors.

At the very least, call it beta if it's out for general use/testing. Perhaps the latest iteration of 2.2.7 is in fact that, just misnamed.

I know hobbyists who would not know what alpha and beta means.

They would think its a cool code name like Omega-force

It was indeed a naming error. We forgot to remove the tag when we pushed the hex. We'll review it all again and push it through the autotest suite again and then push it back out with the right name.

Thanks for the clarification, I waited to see what else was posted before downgrading so will still wait.

I agree with the ccmment that most hobbyists wouldn't know the intention of naming release alpha and beta etc. didn't learn it myself until I got into prototyping.

Thanks for the quick updates and clarification. I for one chose this platform after reading up and seeing how quick the support was. Kudos to the development team.
