droidplanner

So from what I have found so far is that droid planner can not verify height. Does anybody know for sure? I know mission planner can do that but it would be really nice if I didn't have to bring laptop everywhere I went. Or has anyone put mission planner on to an android device?

  • Hi,

What do you mean by "verify height"?

    Cheers

    • Droid planner won't use elevation from google maps to verify height of waypoint. So if I'm flying up a hill the waypoints will stay at the same altitude as the waypoint before. But when make a mission on mission planner you can have the program verify height of the landscape
      • Even In MP the verification is not second-by-second and cannot be trusted if getting close to objects on the hill.

Takes a lot of data base and computing to do it real time.
