Drone usage in cornwall

Hello,

Im planning a vacation to cornwall ( mullion area ) fairly soon and will be taking my drone with me , I'm wondering if anyone has any experience in this area ie satalite connections mobile networks etc as i live in hong kong these days and out of touch with the UK and drone usage.

    You are very close to RNAS Culdrose, so try not to get them flying past in their helicopters.

    As for comms, you can visit how the big kids do telemetry at Goonhilly Downs (there's a ton of massive satellite dishes there)

    Signal reception is probably good for GPS and LOS, and patchy for mobile.

    Take an HF rig and pretend to be Marconi in Poldhu http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poldhu
