ok so here is whats going on. in my eastlab class i am part of a group that is designing a emergency response drone in the event of a natural disaster such as a flood or tornado.
we have run into a few problems dealing with funds and what to put on the uav.
the thought of this drone is to fly for a large amount of time and fly out of los. have 2 cameras onboard the aircraft, 1 for the pilot and another for a second disaster responder. the first cam does not move this being the pilot's cam and the sec cam moves and is located in the back of the uav. the back cam will have its own system for power and transmitting unless we can find a way to have both cam feeds be transmitted from one transmitter . we also have a problem of range, we do not know what transmitters have the most range in distance, both legal and non legal in the usa plz.
now we have a set plane design that we will be super sizing a bit to carry all of the equipment and a possible 5lbs payload. we could careless for size of the aircraft to weight because foam board and things for the body is cheep if we buy in bulk
the link for the wings and fuselage are down below

again we are building this for emergency aid workers so the faa will issue a waver for this aircraft
we could care less about the cost for the main parts like motors and transmitters receivers
we also would like any suggestions for night cams for the drone. any help is very welcomed and appreciated.
