I have an EasyStar with ArduPilot and ArduIMU.  I've tried multiple configurations of the hardware in the EasyStar and cannot find a suitable location for everything.  How does everybody have their equipment setup in the EasyStar including the battery, receiver, ArduPilot, and ArduIMU?

Thanks!

I tossed the foam canopy and made a platform using 1/2 inch foam core and used rubber bands to hold the stack to the canopy area. This survived a terrible crash without a scratch to the Mega.
any photos? (:
Can you post a photo?
BriFly,

I currently like to use the Readymaderc.com FPV pods that are available for the EZ* and the Twinstar II. I have a Spektrum AR6110 receiver, Ardupilot/Shield, GPS and a pitot tube mounted on the Readymaderc EZ* pod in place of a FPV camera, transmitter and battery. I also have an APM/IMU Mega combo mounted in a Readymaderc Twinstar II FPV pod. I do not plan to mount my Spektrum AR7000 receiver in the pod, but will mount it in the fuse. However, I will use the pod transmitter battery holder to hold a LiPo battery for the APM/IMU Mega.
