EKF failures before epic nose dive

Took my pixhawk for it's first flight.  was fantastic until, for some reason, EKF_CHECK-2 error occurred.  Need help analyzing.  First few days I was learning the log utility in Mission Planner.  When the EKF_CHECK-2 occurred, it did a hard forward on it's own.  The second time it occurred, it nose dived in to the ground (luckily.  better than flying away.)  gps was spot-on for the duration.  I just can't wrap my head around the EKF failures and what I need to do to fix.
Thanks.
p.s. I tried uploading log to the DroneShare but for some reason, my log doesn't appear once I do. Any tools to assist analyzing?

  • After a month, I was hoping someone with more log experience could take a look at my logs.  With no response, I'm forced to conclude no one really knows what happened or, at the very least, no one took the time.  Either way,  I will be abandoning the apm flightstack for being too unstable and, mostly, lack of support.  do any of the programmers actually fly their code or are they expecting everyone else to sacrifice their $500 craft?  Lol.

    • I just joined this forum.  I can't help you.   But it seems odd that noone is trying to help.   Would be interested if there was another forum with better feed back or maybe you and I both got the wrong product?

      • Hi, Ryan.  Yah, I'm very disappointed.  I've taken all my questions to rc-help.com.  they seem to be very responsive and willing to help.  I'm going to repost this there and see if anyone has any idea.

  • No one can help?  Is there another forum or group that would be a better fit?
