I am having trouble setting up my Futaba 7c with failsafe.  I am trying to follow the instructions here:

http://code.google.com/p/ardupilot/wiki/RadioSetup

but it can only seem to change one of the settings.  For example, it says i'm supposed to change CH5 to 140%>63%.  I can only change the 140%...so it reads 140%>63%.  If it matters, the instructions say go to "End Position" and the basic menu on the Futaba seems to call it E. Point which I believe is the same as End Position.

I tried to get the answer from the Futaba manual but still couldn't figure it out.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

Oh. I just did this yesterday. Two switch the other percentage value you have to flip the toggle switch on the top left side of the radio. There is two toggle switches on the top left, but you flip the one closest to you.

Let me know if you need more explanation.
Taylor - it worked! thanks so much. It's probably in the Futaba manual somewhere, but i couldn't find it. By the way, I know you responded to a few of my posts yesterday about not getting the throttle to work through the ArduPilot. To see if I had messed up CH3 on the ardupilot board, I changed substituted CH4 for CH3 in the code, re-uploaded the code and then soldered on connections to CH4 and used that for the throttle. It worked...so i must have somehow screwed up CH3 on the board. Thanks again for the input on this subject. Jay
Not a problem. Even though I am only 19 and fairly new to this whole UAV and RC scene, I still have my fair share of good input :). This site is awesome. I'll add you as a friend as well.

I am not sure who will see this.  But if I have this set up and think its ready to go how can I test it on the ground to make sure that when I shut the radio off I see the inputs change and the APM react to it.

I have been trying to figure that out too...

This page is still under construction, but your question is covered there, I think :-)
