Hi All,

I recently traded someone my naza v2 for his fully accessorized Pixhawk as I wanted to try something new. Seems like a great setup from everything I read.

First Question - I live in a Mac OSX world and figured it would work no problem on a mac. I downloaded APM Planner 2.0 and connected it all up on the Pixhawk and it connects no problem. I then moved to the 915 Telemetry radios to try and get them to work and I can't find any information about it anywhere. I installed the FTD USB drivers and even tried installing the Crosspack AVR stuff I saw mentioned on 3DR website, but no go. The COM port doesn't even show up in the list, but there is a USBSerial connection. Is there a tutorial somewhere that goes through setting up the software and telemetry on a mac?

Second Question (Maybe related to first) - When I got the pixhawk, the telemetry radio on the pixhawk side has 4 wires that go from the radio to the pixhawk. Some of the wires had come loose from the six wire connector and I had no way of knowing how they are connected from an order perspective. Is there a pinout of what comes out of the radio and goes into the pixhawk? I may have them out of order and I assume that might be one of my problems. I would like to buy a new cable, but I don't see any that look like what I have, meaning 4 wires (1 red 3 black) coming out of the radio and a six wire connector into the telemetry1 connector on the pixhawk. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks. I know thats a lot.

  • Figured it out. I switched the TX and RX wires and it all just worked... awesome.
