first programming help!!!

Hi all, i'm a newbie here, from italy!! I'm trying to upload code for the first time to ardupilot, it's possible to use with this usb/ftdi breakout board? http://www.sparkfun.com/products/718

my ESC gives 8 V, not 5, so i think i'll try to power it up with 5v on the power pin of the out3, correct? Thanks to all!!!!

Season Two of the Trust Time Trial (T3) Contest has now begun. The fourth round is an accuracy round for multicopters, which requires contestants to fly a cube. The deadline is April 14th.
