First time flyer with Quanum Nova issue

Hello - this is my first post hereBut I need help - I have a Quanum Nova and this is my first droneIt had a rather nasty crash after one of the props flew off about 5m in the air and it fell onto concrete -Plastic a bit cracked but easy to repair but now on start up my left front motor stutters or doesn't hit full speed (I can tell from near launch the way it tips)It kinda jaggedly tries to start like it's stuck then spins up...I thought maybe the screws on my prop protectors were long and interfering but nopeI've taken the top cover off looking for loose wires/plugs or broken solder but nothingOne thing possible - when I was connecting the battery and pushing the excess cord into the compartment I touched something that sparked & on closer inspection something looks burned.I'm no electronics whiz so would this be the cause and how can it be remedied? It's only one motor giving the grief - I've taken top cover off and inspected for loose solder/wires/plugs but all looks fineAlso GPS works, drone binds, lifts off etc etc...just the one motor....Btw - a weird thing happened too when I connected my prop protectors first time - all the rotors began to stagger which is weird because it's an external mod....Hope someone can shed light on thisThanks

Sounds like you might have damaged a speed controller, which should be a simple thing to replace. Perhaps add a photo or two so we can exactly see what you mean.

    • On an ESC? Would the damage be visible? I've attached a photo of the burned spot in the area above the battery cover - does it relate to the motors though? If so, how come not all the motors are affected?

Another thing ...the black, um, "diode" thingy??? Sorry don't know what it's called on the motor end of the ESC board; one of its two prongs seems to have come loose from the solder...I'm gonna re solder then see if it affects performance too

      Cheers
