Flaps not working on mode RC

Hi, i have a Skywalker aircraft with the following setup:

  • Arduplane Firmware V.2.74b
  • Ublox GPS
  • Power module for APM
  • 5800 mah battery
  • 40A SBEC ESC from hobbyking
  • FR sky receiver (8 ch) 2.4 ghz
  • 9Cap transmitter

My skywalker is equipped with flaps, and i need to use them in flight, but (for the moment) i want to use the flaps in manual mode, not in auto mode.

Now, i´ve seen that i can use the flaps in manual mode by asigning them with the RC_function. I tried with the RC_6 on the 2 value, and there is no output on the servo when i hit the flap switch on my transmitter. The flaps are asign on the 6th channel on my transmitter

I already set the min, max and trim pwm values and still nothing.

PS: i plotted the ch6in and ch6out, and the ch6in does change along with the changes in the transmitter, however the output remains the same.

Attatched you will find my .param file

  • You still need to set the RC_function to flaps_auto, otherwise it wont work.
If you keep all other flap related settings to default flaps will work in manual/stabilise/fbwa with your transmitter's switch, and in auto they won't deploy.

I don't know what the reason is but I had the same issue when I tried to setup flaps for the first time.

a tip: bypass the APM flap channel (connect flaps servos directly to receiver) just to test if your transmitter is set right.
