Flight modes

When I try to switch modes using my R/C controller it only switches between the very first mode and the very last mode. How can i switch into the third or fourth mode? I have the Spektrum DX5e. Thanks

Hi,

The ArduPlane wiki getting started guide appendix has some good info on mode selection with various Tx units. I have a DX6i which is used for 5 mode switching. This might be a good place for you to start. Enjoy
