Flying Sphere

I am new to RC world, I recently bought AR Drone and now I want to build my own flying machine.

I would like to challenge myself and build something like

I need help from DIY community on where to start and what components I need to use.

In distant future I would like to use http://www.emotiv.com/index.php to control drone with it (again challenge myself).

Season Two of the Trust Time Trial (T3) Contest has now begun. The fourth round is an accuracy round for multicopters, which requires contestants to fly a cube. The deadline is April 14th.
