Just over 3 years ago, we had a challenge finding an affordable portable digital video recorder (DVR) to pair with a monitor for FPV. We end up with a Angel Eye DVR made for security cameras to pair with a Sharp portable analog TV (that quickly became obsolete).
Fast forward at dronemission.com, We looked at 4 DVRs, monitors and goggles this year, we are pleased to discuss our latest findings and today the Eachine LCD5802D (June 2016 source $110).
In a nutshell it is:

- a DVR
- a 40 channels ultra fast auto scanner
- with dual diversity receiver antennas
- supports AV-In for external receivers if you prefer other bands
- with a essential tripod mount 1/4 inch ready
- supports internal battery and external power supply for extended flights
We are glad competition is bringing better products each time into this hobby, making it more affordable for all of us.
